Busy Busy Busy 10/24/2009
 
First off before you say anything, yes I haven’t written a Blog in a while and you are right but I have a very good reason for it! Honest!

So here I am enjoying my life producing The Jonney Clarke Show Podcasts, thank you for the feedback by the way and no, Andy Green IS NOT my gay lover and yes I will put a picture of the whole team up including Beth and Nicole soon. Sorry I digress. So here I am producing Podcasts and quietly enjoying life with my lovely wife, when suddenly my wife and I decide to move!

On top of that, I then think that now is a great opportunity to start my own production company at the same time! You may have notice the Pratt Features Production aspect to the site was added not that long ago and I will be putting more bits to that in the coming months.

As you can imagine all hell broke loose, however the move seems to have gone off without a hitch and Pratt Features is now up and running and I have no idea what I am going to with it...... Yet!

But fear not, things seem to moving in the right direction now and I am very excited about the future and pray that it continues to go that way.

Anyway watch this space and please continue to listen to the Podcasts and keep an eye on the blog, also the various things that will be happening with Pratt Features.

So I got back from a week in Newcastle the other day and I have to say that I had a fantastic time. I have to say a big thank you to Andrew, Kayleigh and my sister in law Amanda for letting my wife and I to stay at theirs the first few nights, before we went to stay at the hotel.  The reason for this was the weekend we arrived was the weekend of the Great North Run.  The week though was great and I can’t wait to go back again, the night life is amazing and everyone is so friendly and nice.

Anyway, I have just come back from the cinema having just watched the remake of Fame. It was not the greatest remake that the press was making it out to be. Don’t get me wrong, the music and the singing was brilliant, however ironically, the acting wasn’t best I have seen and very cheesy in some places. Also can someone please tell me the point of Kelsey Grammar being in it?? Not to mention his on screen wife from Cheers and Frasier and the squeaky women from Will and Grace. Enjoyable to watch, but you can’t help left feeling more than a little disappointed at the end. On the plus side, it may have just lead to the launch of some pop careers but I will lead that up to you to decide.

So over the August Bank Holiday, we at Hemel Hospital Radio (www.hemelradio.org.uk) held our Annual Fund Raiser. 80 hours of live uninterrupted broadcasting and for a charity run entirely of volunteers, you can imagine it was easier said than done. However we held our own and pulled off an amazing achievement.  So check out the video on the Podcast Page and let me know what you think via my contacts page

I am a seriously addicted to Trebor Extra Strong Peppermints, I am not kidding! When I was a kid I used to go out with my dad in his car and he always had a packet of these mints in his car and he always used to share them with my brothers and myself. Since then I cannot get enough of them and like my dad, I always have a packet in my car, until recently. I cannot find them for love nor money in any shop! Why have they stopped selling them? You know everyone has their addiction weather it be cigarettes, alcohol, drugs etc, well minds these mints!!! I need my fix!!

Now this isn’t an excuse to start a Blog, I just felt that this needed to be said. There have to be loads of products out there that people use that have suddenly disappeared from our shelves that makes you go “why have they stopped selling that?” I was in a major supermarket the other day and I could name at least ten products that my wife and I would buy because they were cheap and cheerful and they are no longer there. Toilet Paper that cost just 20p where’s that gone!?! I don’t want to pay £2.20 for toilet paper.
