So I got back from a week in Newcastle the other day and I have to say that I had a fantastic time. I have to say a big thank you to Andrew, Kayleigh and my sister in law Amanda for letting my wife and I to stay at theirs the first few nights, before we went to stay at the hotel.  The reason for this was the weekend we arrived was the weekend of the Great North Run.  The week though was great and I can’t wait to go back again, the night life is amazing and everyone is so friendly and nice.

Anyway, I have just come back from the cinema having just watched the remake of Fame. It was not the greatest remake that the press was making it out to be. Don’t get me wrong, the music and the singing was brilliant, however ironically, the acting wasn’t best I have seen and very cheesy in some places. Also can someone please tell me the point of Kelsey Grammar being in it?? Not to mention his on screen wife from Cheers and Frasier and the squeaky women from Will and Grace. Enjoyable to watch, but you can’t help left feeling more than a little disappointed at the end. On the plus side, it may have just lead to the launch of some pop careers but I will lead that up to you to decide.
